Ce très beau matcha de première récolte sans amertume cérémonial Top Grade est produit par Shohokuen à Uji depuis le XVIIeme siècle. La manufacture Shohokuen est située à Kohata, jalonée par la Uji River, bénéficiant ainsi d'un terroir exceptionnel.Le mix des cultivars Samidori et Ujihikari donne un matcha doux avec un bel équilibre de textures, pointe sucrée, végétal. A faire en matcha léger usucha ou épais de cérémonie koicha.
